A session's court in Chennai on Monday framed charges against the Kanchi seer Jayendara Saraswathi and 11 others in a case connected to the assaut on a former auditor of the Kanchi mutt.
The seer is accused of masterminding the assault on G Radhakrishnan. Assailants had attacked Radhakrishnan, his wife and an attendant with sharp weapons at his residence in Chennai on September 20, 2002.
