Kanchi Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswathi left Kalavai for Kanchipuram on Thursday morning to receive the copy of the charge sheet filed in the Sankararaman murder case.
The seer would appear before the Judicial magistrate court to receive the copy.
The Judicial Magistrate-I court in Kanchipuram had issued summons to the seer asking him to appear before the court to receive the copy.
The seer has been camping in Kalavai since his release on bail in the case on January 11.
