A Chengalpattu court has posted the bail plea of Appu, alias Krishnaswmay, arrested in connection with the Sankararaman murder case, for February 7.
The bail plea was filed before Principal Sessions Judge G M Akbar Ali on Thursday.
Appu, one of the prime accused, was arrested on December 19.
The other accused in the case, 'Dil' Pandian, Arumugam, Sathish, Devaraj and Arun, who were allegedly involved in the 'fake surrender' case, have sought bail for the second time after their earlier plea was rejected by the court.
