Naqvi told Rediff.com that the superintendent of the jail Patrikar had informed him about Ansari’s condition.
Further he was also informed that the condition could turn critical and he could even die if he continued disobeying the jail staff by not drinking water.
Meanwhile, the Bombay high court has issued notices to the state government among others on a plea that Ansari should not be moved into the cell in which Ajmal Kasab was lodged.
The state has been given one week time to file a reply in this regard.
Ansari has been arrested and brought down to India for his alleged role in the 26/11 attacks. Ever since his arrest he has put out a lot of complaints regarding his health.
