The Centre on Monday evening invited pro-independence Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yassin Malik for talks Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on February 17.
Talking to rediff.com, Malik said he had received a telephonic invitation from the Prime Minister's Office in this regard.

"I have been invited for talks with the PM on February 17. Subsequently, I informed my party units in London, Pakistan occupied Kashmir and the United States about the invitation," he said, adding, "They will inform me about their decision following which the JKLF advisory council and the working committee will meet in Srinagar on February 15 to arrive at a final decision."
The Centre has already held talks with the moderate faction of the separatist All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Sajjad Lone of the Peoples Conference as part of efforts to rope in the Kashmiri separatist leadership in the dialogue process.
