Muslim organisation condemns J&K massacre

The Raza Academy, an organisation of Muslims in Mumbai, has condemned the massacre of 24 people in Kashmir on Monday.

The organisation has demanded immediate relief and compensation of Rs 500,000 to the next of kin of each of the victims.

In a press release, Mohammed Saeed Noori, general secretary of the Raza Academy, said terrorism should be condemned in every possible way and terrorists should be condemned whoever they may be.

The academy along with the All-India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema and the Sunni Tableeghi Jamaat has decided to stage a dharna (sit-down strike) on March 26 in Mumbai to condemn the massacre in Kashmir.
