Police searched the area on specific intelligence inputs and recovered grenades and antenna hidden beneath Akhnoor Bridge on Sunday evening, they said.
The recovery was made at the place, which had witnessed a suicide attack carried out by Pakistani militants three years back.
More personnel were rushed to the area to carry out extensive searches, they said adding police teams under the supervision of Additional Superintendent (Rural) Rajinder Gupta have been deputed to conduct raids at suspected places.
