Two army jawans were killed in a pre-dawn ambush with militants in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, official sources said.
On specific information, army troops launched an operation in Gandoh tehsil of Doda district in the wee hours. As they were heading for the operation, militants ambushed them at Gandna area.
In the subsequent exchange of fire, two jawans were killed, the sources said, adding that additional troops had been rushed to the area to intensify the operation to track down the militants.
