Militants gunned down four members of a family, including a six-year-old, at Rebbon village near Sopore in Baramulla district on Friday night, police said.
Three family members who were injured were shifted to Srinagar for treatment, Baramulla police chief Showkat Ahmad Malik told rediff.com on Saturday.
Ghulam Qadir Dar, whose house was attacked, was among those killed, he said.
No one had assumed responsibility for the killing.
