J&K: Terrorists attack SOG camp, cop killed

A police official was killed and four cops were injured in a grenade attack at Imam Sahib in South Kashmir's Shopian district on Tuesday.

A senior police official told rediff.com that terrorists fired a rifle grenade at the heavily guarded camp of the Special Operations Group in the afternoon, killing an Assistant Sub-Inspector on the spot and injuring four others.

The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital and the area around the camp is being sanitised.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
