BSF personnel on Sunday shot dead a Pakistani intruder near the Indo-Pak border in Samba district.
The troops of 72 battalion of BSF observed some movement near Naga Border Out Post (BoP) near International Border (IB) in Ramgarh sub-sector of the district early Sunday, BSF officials said.
The troops found a youth coming towards the post from Pakistan side and asked him to surrender, they said.
The youth did not stop following which the security personnel fired at him. He died on the spot and his body was recovered, they said, adding his identity has not been established yet.
