Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra was Wednesday briefed about Tuesday's shooting incident by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Mendhar in Poonch district.
The briefing was done by Lt General K. T. Parnaik, northern army commander, who called on him at Raj Bhavan in winter capital Jammu.
Two army soldiers were brutally killed by Pakistan troops in the Mendhar sector of the LoC on Tuesday.
An official spokesman said Wednesday evening, "It is likely that a further meeting in regard to this very important matter shall take place between the governor and the army commander in the next few days."
