As the son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR Reddy, Jaganmohan Reddy enjoyed tremendous clout in the state and a good amount of respect in New Delhi. But only nine months after his father's sudden demise, young MP from Kadapa is fast becoming a man with no friends.

Even KVP Ramachandra Rao, deemed to be his godfather, is piqued so much with him that he too has started distancing himself.  A day after the Congress high command sending a clear signal that Jagan has been put on notice; there were indications of more trouble for him. Nine members of Lok Sabha from Telangana region got together demanding action against Jagan for his disobedience in undertaking a yatra in Telangana in violation of the high command's orders.

Having angered the Congress high command by going against the leadership's orders and undertaking a botched yatra of of Warangal on Friday, Jagan committed another blunder when he ignored Chief Minister Ken Rosaiah and went to meet the governor ESL Narasimhan on Saturday. Jagan apparently went to the governor with a litany of complaints against the state government, he told the governor that miscreants were deliberately given a free hand to create trouble in Mahbubabad. Sources said that he also objected to the government arresting him and sending him back to Hyderabad.

Telangana MPs have decided to take up the issue with the party president Sonia Gandhi and also meet the state governor to apprise him of the situation.

The MPs K Rajagopal Reddy, Rajaiah, Madhu Goud Yashki, M Jagnnadhan, G Vivekanand, S Satyanarayana, Ponnam Prabhakar,  G Sukhinder Reddy and Balram Naik also disagreed with the view that the "Odarpu Yatra" (condolence tour) was an individual affair of Jaganmohan Reddy. "How it could be when he is a Congress member of Parliament", one of the MPs asked.

They expressed doubt that there was a deep conspiracy behind this yatra, involving many big leaders to create a political trouble in the state. They alleged that by his disobedience and insulting attitude, Jagan was trying to provoke trouble.

S Satyanarayana demanded the expulsion of Jagan from the party. "If he wants to open his own shop and was trying to create trouble for that purpose, people will not tolerate it", he said.

Apart from Jagan another Congress MP from Andhra, L Rajagopal also came under fire. Apart from supporting Jagan, Rajagopal had also met the governor separately. "Are these people chief ministers that they were going and apprising the governor of the situation", an MP asked. They also demanded action against Rajagopal.

Meanwhile Chief Minister K Rosaiah also held a separate meeting with his cabinet colleagues and made it clear to them that party high command was extremely unhappy with Jaganmohan Reddy and they can not be seen to support him. The meeting also discussed Jagan's meeting with the governor. Rosaiah said that the government had not done any thing wrong in arresting Jagan as a precautionary measures because if he had gone to Mahbubabad, situation would have gone out of control.
