Jaganmohan Reddy pays tribute to YSR at estate

Ahead of resuming his controversial yatra, Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy paid tributes to his late father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the place where he was buried, on Tuesday. Jagan, who arrived at the family estate at Idupulapaya, near Kadapa, from Hyderabad by train in the early hours on Tuesday, offered tributes to his father at the burial site inside the estate.

He was accompanied by Congress MLAs-K Srinivasulu (Koduru), A Amarnath Reddy (Rajampeta), Kamalamma (Badvel) -- MLC, his uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy and another MLC Pulla Padmavati and several

local leaders. Jagan would leave for Srikakulam district on Wednesday night to resume his yatra to console the family members of those who either died of shock or heart attack following the death of his father in a helicopter crash, sources said.

Notwithstanding party chief Sonia Gandhi's reservations about it, Jagan had announced his decision to resume his controversial yatra from Thursday. Jagan, who had defied the party directive against undertaking the yatra in May also, had met Gandhi along with his family members on June 29 to seek her permission for the tour.
