Michael Jackson on Friday pleaded innocent to child molestation charges in a California court.

During the five-minute hearing the pop star was scolded by the Santa Maria court judge for arriving late by 20 minutes.

Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville told Jackson not to be late again, and set a pretrial hearing for February 13. Hundreds of fans were present outside the courthouse to show him support.
