Jamia Hamdard: Admission Notice 2004

'Established in 1989 by Hakeem Abdul Hameed through a Wakf, Jamia Hamdard in a short span of time has grown into a fine teaching and research institution, offering a variety of programmes of study,' says Jamia Hamdard, a deemed university. 'As a minority institution set up under Article 30(1) of the Constitution, Jamia Hamdard reserves 50% seats for Muslims in all the programmes of study.'

PhD Programmes

•  PhD Programmes offered in Science, Pharmacy, Management, Islamic Studies and Federal Studies
  
  Admission to B Pharm, MBA and MCA will be based on score of candidates in AIEEE (PCB only), MAT and AIMCET examinations, respectively. Candidates are advised to positively apply to CBSE, AIMA and IIT (Roorkee) on the prescribed form. To become eligible for admission, candidates have to apply to Jamia Hamdard on the prescribed form. For open seats of B Pharm, successful students may take part in the CBSE centralised counseling.
  
  Application form and prospectus will be available from the university counter and also from select branches of  IDBI Bank on payment of Rs 200, with effect from March 10, 2004. However, candidates can also download the application form from the university web site and submit the same as per the instructions given on the web site.
  
  Application form can also be obtained by post from the Chairman, Admission Committee, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi 110062 by sending a demand draft of Rs 275 in favor of 'Jamia Hamdard,' payable at Delhi. Filled in application form can be submitted at the university counter, or sent by post or submitted at the specified IDBI Bank branches.
