Sangh Parivar leader Sadhvi Ritambhara on Friday said controversies and talk about individuals should be brushed aside, instead the focus should be on the issue of tackling corruption and black money.

This is an "auspicious time" to the fight against corruption and black money, and it should not be frittered away in controversies and focusing on individuals, she said.

When asked to comment on social activist Swami Agnivesh expressing apprehension over her presence on the dais with Baba Ramdev at Ramlila grounds, Ritambhara said she participated in the protest as a citizen of the country, and one who is agitated over the corrupt system. "It's my right and my duty," she added.

On the controversy over Agnivesh's statement about her being communal, she said it's an attempt to divert attention from the fight against corruption. "Don't talk about individuals; focus on the issue", Ritambhara said. She said all sadhus are with Ramdev, but hastened to add it's a national issue, and not just confined to sadhus.
