Interesting facts about PM Modi's new book

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest book ‘Convenient Action - Continuity for Change’ was released on Wednesday in Paris on the sidelines of the climate change summit CoP-21.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, French President Francois Hollande and several other world leaders were present at the launch of the new book.

“At #COP21 Summit in Paris, my book ‘Convenient Action - Continuity for Change’ was released. My book ‘Convenient Action - Continuity for Change’ talks about India's efforts to mitigate climate change & importance of climate justice,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted after the launch of the book.

Here are some interesting facts about the book:

1) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that his book ‘Convenient Action- Continuity for Change’ talks about the importance of climate justice.

2) The book offers a rich insight and perspective on the efforts of the Government of India towards mitigating the menace of climate change and towards improving our environment.

3) The book outlines the prime minister’s vision on climate ethics and climate justice. Prime Minister Modi has been emphasising on the virtue of climate justice for several years now, stating that it is our responsibility to care for a world and a generation that we will not see and securing them from natural disasters as well as the ill-effects of environmental degradation.

4) The book, published by LexisNexis, has been released in major cities across the United States, the United Kingdom, in France, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Japan.

5) PM Modi had written another book with a similar premise during his years as the chief minister of Gujarat titled ‘Convenient Action: Gujarat's Response to Challenges of Climate Change’.
