Aziz Haniffa, managing editor of India Abroad, owned by rediff.com, has been selected as the best Asian American journalist by the Texas State Chapter of the Indian American Friendship Council for his extensive reportage on Indo-US issues.
The Best Asian American Journalist Award 2006 will be presented on March 11, at the Annual Banquet Dinner, organised by the IAFC in Dallas, Texas.
US Congressman Bobby Jindal, who will be the chief guest for the event, will honour Aziz.
