'I didn't tweet my hands did': Gurmehar's dig at Randeep Hooda
March 09, 2017 12:30 IST

Gurmehar Kaur, the Delhi University student who was trolled recently for her online campaign against student group the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, has hit back with a new tweet.

Earlier, the 20-year-old daughter of army martyr Captain Mandeep Singh had posted a video in which she stated that ‘Pakistan did not kill my father. War did.’

Among those who responded were former cricketer Virender Sehwag and actor Randeep Hooda, who were widely criticised for mocking the student.

The actor on Wednesday clarified during a press conference that he was not aware of the trolling and that his views were misconstrued.

Quickly, Gurmehar took to Twitter again and wrote, “I didn’t tweet my hands did.”

Gurmehar Kaur’s quick and fiery response has set Twitter on fire. There have been almost 1,000 retweets and over 1,500 ‘likes’ in a few hours.
