At least 15 people, including five women, were killed and seven injured when a Maxicab fell 400 ft down in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district, 250 km from Shimla on Monday.
Thirteen people, including the driver Surinder Bhagat, died on the spot while two succumbed to injuries in hospital. One person jumped out of the vehicle and escaped unhurt.
The injured were admitted to a hospital. The condition of two is stated to be critical.
The vehicle was carrying 23 people. All the victims belonged to nearby villages.
