Anna Hazare is likely to be present in the viewers' gallery of the Parliament when the Lokpal Bill would be tabled and discussed, sources close to him said in Mumbai on Friday.
"The core committee (of team Anna) has decided that Anna would sit in the gallery and oversee the proceedings. He is also expected to be accompanied by key associates like Manish Sisodiya, Arvind Kejariwal or Kiran Bedi," sources said.
Sources added that if Hazare holds his fast in Mumbai due to inclement weather in Delhi, the MMRDA ground in Bandra-Kurla Complex could be a possible venue.
Police commissioner as well as commissioner of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority have been approached in this regard.
The government is planning to introduce the bill next week, before the session ends on December 22. Hazare has warned of a fresh fast from December 27 if a strong Lokpal Act is not passed.
