Copter crash: Haryana ministers cremated

Former Haryana chief minister Bansi Lal's son Surender Singh and industrialist O P Jindal, who died in a chopper crash on Thursday, were cremated with full state honours on Friday.

Both Singh and Jindal were ministers in the Bhupinder Singh Hooda ministry.

Singh was the last to be cremated in his native village Golagarh, about 20 km from Bhiwani. He is survived by his wife Kiran Chaudhary, former deputy speaker Delhi assembly, and daughter Shruti.

Jindal was cremated in Hissar, while the chopper's pilot, who too died in the crash, was cremated in his native village Sagga in Karnal district.
