Strongly objecting to media reports linking the Pune terror attack with 'Abhinav Bharat', the Hindutva organisation's president Himani Savarkar on Tuesday said investigating agencies were planting "baseless stories" to hide their failure in tracing the terrorists behind the German Bakery blast.
"Abhinav Bharat is not a terrorist outfit. The Maharashtra ATS has not been able to prove its involvement even in the Malegaon blasts. Linking AB with the Pune blast is highly irresponsible and objectionable," she said.
"The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is planting baseless stories to hide its failure in tracing the culprits," Savarkar said.
The February 13 terror attack has claimed 15 lives and over 50 persons were injured in the explosion that shattered the popular eatery in Koregaon Park.
