National Democratic Alliance Convener and former Defence Minister George Fernandes was on Tuesday admitted to a hospital in Bangalore after he complained of breathlessness and discomfort in chest.
According to the Wockhardt Hospital and Heart Institute cardiologists team which attended on him, his vital parameters are stable and he is likely to be under observation for the next 24 hours.
"His condition is quite stable and he would be discharged on Wednesday," Interventional Cardiologist Dr Ranganath Nayak told PTI.
