Davis, whose arrest had sparked diplomatic tensions between the US and Pakistan, was released after paying a blood money of $2.3 million to the families of the victims, whom he shot dead on a road in Lahore in January.
Falling in trouble yet again, the CIA contractor allegedly entered into an argument and fight over a parking spot outside a shopping mall in suburban Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, police authorities said.
He was arrested and released later in the day after he posted a bond of $1,750, local police authorities said.
Notably Davis had spent some seven weeks in a Lahore jail early this year after he was arrested. He was released only after much of tension between the US and Pakistan and the paying of blood money.
In his latest report to the Congress, US President Barack Obama said that the decline in US-Pak relationship started with the arrest of Davis in Pakistan.
Lt Glenn Peitzmeier, spokesperson of Douglas county Sheriff's Office said the verbal argument turned physical, while describing the latest incident.
Jeffrey Maes, 50, who was involved in the fight with Davis on Saturday told the local media that he was hit by the CIA contractor.
Maes said: "He (Davis) literally parked his car behind me and started shouting at me and I says, 'You need to relax'. And he got out of the car".
The man spent most of the afternoon at a medical facility.
"When I got hit I went back, I hit my back straight on the concrete and then, I don't know, I must've got up. I looked, he's standing there and I got up to defend myself and started again," Maes was quoted as saying by the Denver Channel.
"I thought to myself, he's a pretty tough guy. I guess I'm somewhat grateful there were five men who broke it up," Maes said.
