Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, wanted by the authorities in United Kingdom for his alleged involvement in rape and murder of British teenager Hannah Foster, on Wednesday filed a notice of contempt of court against her parents in a Delhi court.

Kohli alleged that Hannah's parents, Trevor John Foster and Hillery Foster, who wrote letters to the Indian President, prime minister and chief justice of the Delhi High Court, had interfered in the judicial proceedings.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau posted the matter for Thursday. The court also deferred Kohli's bail application to February 21.

According to the bail application, the post-mortem report of deceased Hannah Foster, cited by Kohli's counsel as an extremely vital document, nowhere indicated that she was raped, which is allegedly the motive of the murder. Kohli also challenged that the DNA analysis, done in the present case on the basis of Likelihood Ration, is not conclusive evidence in medical science.

Kohli had escaped from England on March 16, 2003, two days after 17-year-old Foster's body was found. He was brought to Delhi from Chandigarh where he was lodged after his arrest on July 15, 2004 from Kalimpong.
