Former AG Milon K Banerji dies

Former Attorney General Milon Kumar Banerji passed away on Tuesday morning at Apollo hospital in New Delhi, family sources said. He was 82.
The former AG had suffered a stroke in December 2009 and since then he was not keeping well, they said.
Banerji breathed his last around 3:30 am at the hospital. His
last rites will be performed on Wednesday evening at Lodhi Road electric crematorium in New Delhi.
He is survived by two sons, who are also practising advocates. While his elder son Bebal Banerji is a senior advocate practising in Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court, younger son Gourav Banerji is the Additional Solicitor General.
