Five boys crushed to death by train in Bihar

Five teenaged boys were Sunday mowed down by a train near Goldenganj station under Sonepur-Chapra section of the East-Central Railway in Bihar, a Government Railway Police officer said.

The boys, hailing from Mubarakpur village in Bihar's Saran district, were crushed to death by the Howrah-Kathgodam Bagh Express when they were trying to cross over to the other side of the railway track at about 1.30 pm, GRP Inspector M P Singh said.

Two of the victims were identified as Jeetu Kumar (14) and Vikas Kumar (14), Singh said, adding that efforts were on to ascertain the identity of remaining three.
