The Federal Bureau of Investigation team has arrived in New Delhi and is holding discussions with its Indian counterparts.
The main focus of the discussion will revolve round the role played by both David Headley and Tawwahur Rana in the Mumbai 26/11 attack.
The FBI team first landed in Mumbai and then went to New Delhi, before sharing information on the duo with Indian investigators. A second team of the FBI, too, is scheduled to arrive in the next couple of days.
In New Delhi, the FBI will interact with members of the National Investigating Agency and share information that they have on Headley and Rana. So far a brief idea of what the duo did during the planning of the Mumbai attack has already been shared with the Indian agencies, a source privy to the discussion told rediff.com.
Specific questions such as the exact role played by the duo in the Mumbai attack, their links with Rahul Bhat, the visits by them to various places in the country will also form part of the discussions with the FBI.
