Know how 18-year-olds in Australia celebrate when they complete their schooling?
Throwing caution to the wind, they engage in a weird custom called the ‘schoolies week’, which media reports aptly term as the annual festival of crushing hangovers, regrettable Instagram pictures, public urination and forfeited hotel room deposits.
While most choose to hit the Gold Coast in southeastern Queensland, there are those who prefer to pack their bags for destinations such as Kuta in Bali, which are popular among students in search of cheap alcohol and all night parties.
