"If you transform your talent into determination to perform, no one can stop India from becoming a superpower. If you want to contribute to the country, then emulate the qualities of Swami Vivekananda to work for others," said Singh addressing the closing ceremony of the 19th National Youth Festival in Guwahati.
"We want to create a situation where our youth produce the kind of goods with Made in India label that spell 'super quality' globally," Singh said.
"For easing the unemployment problem in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to help those willing to work, have skill and are qualified," he said.
"India is a young country. It is passing through challenging times. Some elements are trying to influence the youth through drug addiction. Sports persons have to start a campaign against drug addiction," Singh said.
