The Enforcement Directorate has attached the properties of Pune businessman Hasan Ali Khan and his aide Kashinath Tapuriah, amounting to more than Rs 50 crore.

The attachment includes residences at Prithviraj Road in New Delhi, Pedder Road in Mumbai, and Koregoan Park in Pune. Six expensive cars belonging to Ali, including a Mercedes and Porsche Cayenne are also attached.

This is the first stage of attachments; many more attachments in India and abroad are in process.

Both Khan and his close aide Tapuriah are presently lodged at Arthur Road jail after they were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate for an alleged multi-crore money laundering scam.
