A moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale shook the Kashmir Valley on Thursday but there were no reports of any damage due to it.
"Earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred at 1306 hours with the epicentre in Hindukush region of Afghanistan," an official of the disaster management cell said here.
There were no reports of any damage or casualty due to the tremor so far.
