Priya Dutt, daughter of late Sunil Dutt, will be the Congress candidate for the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency, which was represented by her actor-turned-politician father, party sources said on Friday.
"Priya will be the Congress candidate for the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency whenever the elections are held," party spokesman Abishek Singhvi told reporters in New Delhi.
He said Priya and her actor brother Sanjay Dutt had met Congress president Sonia Gandhi on the matter.
