The Municipal Corporation of Delhi continued with its sealing drive on Tuesday, taking action against 131 illegal commercial establishments in the capital.
The units sealed in Civil Lines, Karol Bagh and Rohini Zones include 35 establishments on the Timarpur Road and four on the Satyam Cinema road in Karol Bagh.
Ninety-two shops were also sealed from Blocks A to F in Rohini Sector 11 and Badli village road in the same zone.
With Tuesday's action, the total number of establishments sealed since the drive was resumed on November 8 has reached 1,822.
The civic body had, on Monday, targetted 93 such establishments in northwest Delhi.
Meanwhile, the MCD also began a survey of 1,000 more roads to be notified for commercial and mixed land use.
