Rejoice! The Badshahs of Bollywood have finally woken from their slumber.

On Monday, October 12, 34 Bollywood producers and four associations approached the Delhi high court against the Republic and Times Now 'news' television channels and their editors for defaming the Hindi film industry.

The lawsuit seek the court's direction to Republic TV, its 'editor-in-chief' Arnab Goswami and 'reporter' Pradeep Bhandari, Times Now, its 'editor-in-chief' Rahul Shivshankar and 'group editor' Navika Kumar to refrain from making or publishing allegedly irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory remarks against Bollywood.

Will the litigation end the tedious, ethically and legally problematic campaign undertaken by these two channels? Or will they and their masters be provoked further?

After all, rumours have swirled about Thanos and his Black Order behind these television channels's campaigns.

Dominic Xavier wonders if the Bollywood Avengers will achieve the Endgame they are looking for. That, we predict, will only happen when its viewers tire of their TRP-driven manufactured ire and switch channels.
