Ahead of the Monsoon session, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mawayati on Thursday directed her party members of Parliament and legislative assembly to do their "full homework" on issues of land acquisition, corruption and price rise which are expected to dominate Parliament and assembly proceedings.

Mayawati, who was holding meeting of ministers and lawmakers, at her residence directed them to regularly attend Parliament and assembly sessions which will start from Aug 1 and Aug 5 respectively.

She asked the MPs to take up issues pertaining to state and state government in a disciplined manner and attend Parliament with full preparation especially on hike in prices of petroleum products, corruption as well as land acquisition, on which the Mayawati government has been facing an opposition onslaught.

The UP chief minister also directed the ministers to be fully prepared on issues related to their department and remain prepared to thwart any attack from opposition parties.

"The minister should attend House after doing full homework," she said and directed the party MLAs to associate more people with the party in their areas after the end of the assembly session.

Cautioning party leaders against "propaganda" by opposition, she said that they should make the people aware of their designs.
