It was another chilly morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature settling at 8.2 degree Celsius and dense fog delaying 30 flights and 87 trains.

“The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 8.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal. The humidity was 100 per cent while the visibility was recorded at 200 metres,” a weather department official said.

Service of 87 trains was severely affected due to bad weather conditions.

“Around 87 north-bound trains including premiere trains like Rajdhani and Duronto express are running late by several hours due to dense fog,” said a Northern Railway official. Additionally, 30 flights were also delayed, the airport authorities said.

The weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead.

“The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 19 degree Celsius,” the official said.
