With almost all exit polls giving the party a decisive edge in Delhi assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday lauded Delhiites for “rejecting” the politics of caste and religion.

“My gratitude to Delhiites for their support. You are so amazing. You rejected politics of caste and religion. Hope final results are as per exit polls,” he tweeted.

He also spoke highly of the party’s army of volunteers saying the party stands strong because of them. “My sincere thanks n congratulations to all selfless volunteers of AAP, who worked round the clock for their country. AAP is because of you,” he said.

He said that the party has worked “selflessly” and with honesty adding that the results are in God’s hands.
