Five suspected criminals opened fire in a busy North-West Delhi area causing panic on Saturday afternoon. One of the shooters was nabbed and was being questioned.
Nobody was injured in the firing at Lawrence Road at around 1 pm. The apparent target of the firing was a police inspector, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police R S Yadav said.
The arrested shooter has been identified as Kalyan Khari.
From initial investigations it appears the shooters belong to a organised gang, he said.
