Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal told reporters that "two bullets which had hit Geetanjali were recovered from the scene of crime."
He also said that the SIT, formed to probe the case, questioned K K Garg, the father of CJM Ravneet Garg.
Meanwhile, in their supplementary complaint, family of Geetanjali have alleged that the her in-laws used to "torture her for dowry", and at one occasion they even refused to pay school fees of her two children and had asked her to get the money from her parents.
A case of murder was registered against the CJM on Saturday. On July 17, his wife Geetanjali was found dead with three bullet injuries near his official residence in high security Police Lines area.
On Sunday, her brother Pardeep Aggarwal filed another complaint with the police, alleging that Garg's family consistently ill-treated his sister.
They used to demand expensive gifts and cash from them, alleged Gitanjali's brother Pardeep Aggarwal in his supplementary complaint submitted to Gurgaon police.
"A Skoda Laura worth Rs 17 lakh was given on the occasion of wedding...After two years of marriage, on being pressurised by them, we were made to give them Skoda Superb worth Rs 20 lakh," said Mr Aggarwal.
"For the last three months, under pressure of her in-laws, Geetanjali would demand money from us, even for paying the school fees of her two children," he said.
He also alleged that even a few days before her death, Garg's cousin Heena Garg used to stay in Gitanjali's home.
"On the day of her death, she was there in the house along with another cousin from Muktsar," he said.
"The conduct of these two cousins has been very suspicious and they can be very much instrumental in her death," alleged Aggarwal.
He said that Gitanjali's two children can also throw light on the death of his sister, "and that was why they are not being allowed to meet children".
SIT head ACP Ashok Bakshi grilled the CJM and his family members on Saturday and Sunday.
Bakshi told PTI that they are moving in right direction and would soon get some breakthrough, without elaborating further.
