A father-in-law allegedly beat to death his pregnant daughter-in-law for simply not giving him water on his demand, police said.
The victim was reportedly seven-months pregnant.
She died at the hospital on Tuesday. The incident took place at Ghaziabad on Monday night. According to the police, the victim was beaten up by her father-in-law Ram Dhari Sharma because she didn't bring him water on his demand.
When the neighbours called the police, both Ram Dhari and the victim's husband ran away. They are yet to be arrested. Police have registered a case of murder.
