CWG clean-up: Heads to start rolling soon

With the Commonwealth Games over, heads will soon start rolling.

Sources say that the constitution of the high-level committee headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General VK Shungloo to look into the organising and conduct of the Games, is just phase one of the clean-up ops.

A major bureaucratic reshuffle is expected next week.

Sources say that a major onslaught, beginning with the knocking out of six senior Secretaries for their lackadaisical attitude towards the Commonwealth Games, is set to begin.

The Prime Minister's Office is upset with the Delhi administration and civic agencies like the New Delhi Municipal Corporation, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi Development Authority and the Delhi Transport Corporation.
