A CRPF constable shot himself dead with his service weapon in Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday apparently due to harassment by his seniors.
B P Naidu, who hailed from Chittoor district, shot himself in his chest with his gun after completing duty at 141 CRPF battalion, Sarangapur, police said.
Initially, it was believed to be a case of accidental discharge from the firearm, but the police later found a suicide note by him.
In the note, Naidu said he was taking the extreme step due to harassment by his seniors at his work place, Nizamabad police added.
