Directing officers to complete all pending projects in which over 80 per cent work had been done, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday asked them to prepare a plan for achieving 10 per cent growth rate in the 12th five-year plan.
Reviewing progress of the Planning department, he asked officers to ensure completion of developmental projects in which over 80 per cent work has been completed.
Emphasising on removing regional imbalances in development, the chief minister directed Chief Secretary Javed Usmani to make separate budget allocation for Bundeklhand region.
He also directed the officers to prepare a plan for achieving 10 per cent growth rate and said participation of industries in this regard should be increased. Yadav said for establishment of new minor and small industries, a friendly policy should be prepared.
