Centre issues notice against US LTTE sympathiser

The Home Ministry on Tuesday has issued a Look out Circular (LOC) against a USA-based Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam sympathiser Dr. Ellyn Shander, who was to have addressed a meeting in New Delhi on Thursday, at the India Islamic Culture Centre .Shander has a valid Indian visa, still the LOC was issued.

The ministry is belived to have acted upon a letter from Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary, K S Sripathi about Shander. She was in constant touch with Pazha Nedumaran,  a LTTE supporter in Tamil Nadu. Shander was to have addressed  meetings in Tamil Nadu
about the genocide in Sri Lanka.

Interestingly the meeting in Delhi was being organised by M Natarajan the husband of Sasikala, foster-sister
of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader and fprmer TN CM, Jayalalitha.

A special meet arranged against the genocide of Tamils sent shock waves over the past and present human rights violations in Sri Lanka.
