Distressed by her repeated failure in Board exams, a teenaged girl on Thursday allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the multi-storied Central Board of Secondary Education building in east Delhi.
Khushboo, an 18-year-old resident of Mayapuri in north-west Delhi, jumped off the high-rise building situated in Preet Vihar shortly after 12:30 a.m. and died on the spot, police said.
A suicide note left by her said she was committing suicide because of her repeated failure in class tenth examinations.
It was not immediately known what she was doing at the CBSE headquarters.
