The anti-corruption protest of activist Anna Hazare on Friday had a supporter in Suhail Hindustani, a key accused in 2008 cash-for-vote scam, who appeared in a Delhi court wearing a Gandhian cap written Mai Anna Hoon ( I am Anna) on it.
Hindustani, who appeared before Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal during the proceedings on his bail plea, was wearing the Anna cap after the court resumed the hearing in the post-lunch session.
He also showed off his cap to mediapersons and advocates.
"Mai Anna Hoon (I am Anna)," Hindustani said when police personnel took him of the courtroom as the hearing for the day ended.
