A Bharatiya Janata Party leader of Bihar has filed a complaint against Minister of Human Resource and Development Arjun Singh for objectionable comments on Hindu gods Rama and Krishna.
Ajit Kumar, BJP spokesperson of Samastipur district, filed a complaint against Singh and others in the court of the chief judicial magistrate in Hajipur on Thursday charging them with making objectionable comments on Rama and Krishna in history textbooks.
Kumar said the comments have hurt the sentiments of millions of Hindus across India and the world.
The court has fixed August 2 as the date for the hearing.
